William Dazy, Managing Director
A graduate from Sciences Po, William holds a Master’s Degree in EU public policy from Strasbourg University. He also studied political science at Juniata College in Pennsylvania.
During his career, William acquired a solid experience and an important network in technology issues. He started his EU career at DIGITALEUROPE, the leading ICT and consumer electronics association. Then after 6 years as a consultant advising blue-chip financial institutions, telecom operators and Internet services providers at Hill+Knowlton, William set up and managed Canon’s government affairs for 6 years, advocating the position of the ICT and consumer electronics sectors. In addition to his knowledge in technology issues, William is also a respected consensus-builder, with a track record in setting up, moderating and developing European industry federations. In 2011, he was one of the five founders of EuroVAprint, an association he chaired in 2013-2014, bringing together all major manufacturers in a voluntary scheme to reduce the environmental impact of printing and imaging equipment. Between 2008 and 2014, he was a board member of EURIMAG, the European imaging association, gaining familiarity with the EU’s initiatives in the intellectual property and cultural policy areas. In addition to his French mother tongue, William speaks English and German. |
Margot Breton, Consultant
A graduate from the University of Lille, Margot holds a master’s degree in European Union law. She also studied European and International law in Seville, Spain.
Margot acquired solid knowledge in EU policymaking during her spell at the European Commission. She has a strong understanding of tech issues due to her work at DG COMP, in the unit in charge of mergers in the information, telecommunication and media sectors. She is also passionate about competition issues and legal challenges in particular. In addition to her French mother tongue, Margot speaks fluent English and Spanish. |
